Kearl Oil Sands E&I Quality Control Inspector

Be a key player at OCL Group Inc. as an E&I Quality Control Inspector at Kearl Oil Sands. This role prioritizes the accuracy of Electrical and Instrumentation project documentation.

We are looking for two qualified inspectors to oversee all aspects of E&I documentation compliance. You will manage the compilation and review of turnover binders while ensuring adherence to client specifications and regulatory standards. This 14-day on/off position includes a supportive camp environment with scheduled flights from Edmonton or Calgary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and compile E&I turnover binder documentation

• Ensure E&I installations comply with design and regulatory requirements

• Review and approve quality documentation from subcontractors

• Organize and witness crucial testing and verification actions

• Facilitate walkdowns with clients and internal teams, manage punch lists

Requirements:

• Certification as a Journeyman Electrician or Instrumentation Technician

• Proven leadership in E&I turnover for major projects

• Comprehensive understanding of E&I industry codes and standards

• Familiarity with Google Docs, Microsoft Office, and turnover software

• Legally authorized to work in Canada and able to pass screenings
