Field Safety Coordinator

Join MSCP as a Field Safety Coordinator in Fort McMurray with a 6/1 rotation starting September. This role emphasizes workplace safety, hazard assessment, and compliance management every week.

As a Field Safety Coordinator, you will work within a cooperative framework at MSCP, focusing on execution of health and safety systems. You will engage with field staff and management to refine safety practices, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with OHS legislation. Strong analytical and communication skills are crucial for success in this interactive position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute MSCP's health and safety program on-site

• Identify hazards and assess associated risks

• Monitor daily implementation of safety protocols

• Manage safety documentation and compliance audits

• Facilitate safety meetings and training programs

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety

• Minimum 3 years of H&S experience in industrial settings

• Strong knowledge of Alberta OHS legislation

• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence required

• Proficient in digital documentation and reporting
