Position: Acuren API Inspector
Join Acuren as an API Visual Inspector specializing in API 510/570 for the 2026 Fall Turnaround at CNRL Horizon, Fort McMurray. Ensure compliance and quality throughout this critical project.

This temporary full-time role spans from late August to mid-October 2026, focusing on field inspections of pressure equipment and piping systems. Collaborate with an expert inspection team to uphold quality and safety standards while addressing regulatory requirements. Strong turnaround experience in upgrader facilities is preferred for candidates in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of piping and pressure equipment

• Validate materials and fabrication against project specifications

• Maintain accurate records and compliance documentation

• Review and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

• Collaborate with teams to implement corrective actions

Requirements:

• Minimum API 510 and API 570 certifications

• Previous turnaround quality control experience required

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

• Solid organizational and time management abilities

• Strong attention to detail is essential
