Join SGS as a Turnaround Inspector in Fort McMurray for a one-month contract. This position operates on a schedule of 6 days on and 1 day off with 12-hour shifts in a camp environment.
The role requires a minimum of API 510, API 570, or CWB Level 2 certification, along with experience in industrial welding inspections. Knowledge in inspecting various equipment such as pressure vessels and pipelines is a must for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct inspections on welds across multiple products
• Ensure quality standards and safety protocols are met
• Collaborate in assessments of turnaround activities
• Document and report inspection findings
• Manage vendor surveillance processes effectively
Requirements:
• Certifications in API 510 or 570, or CWB Level 2
• Multiyear experience in inspections and shutdowns
• Industrial experience in oil, gas, or manufacturing sectors
• Capable of working as an independent contractor
• Must have authorization to work in Canada
