You will oversee the Wood Buffalo Restorative Justice program, facilitating connections between various community members and organizations. Through mediation and effective communication, you’ll help foster accountability and support among affected parties. Your leadership will directly impact conflict resolution in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement restorative justice strategies
• Engage with schools to promote youth programming
• Facilitate restorative justice circles and maintain records
• Collaborate with law enforcement on community needs
• Collect feedback for program improvements
Requirements:
• Diploma in Criminology, Criminal Justice, or related area
• At least two years in restorative justice or conflict resolution
• Proficiency in mediation and community engagement
• Knowledge of local Indigenous cultures and practices
• Maintain RCMP security clearance and valid driver's license
Lead transformative change in restorative practices and community support with this dynamic role.
