MAKS Casework Supervisor Position

Make a difference at Mikisew Awasis Kisiwatsowin Society as a Casework Supervisor, ensuring the well-being of Mikisew Cree children and families. This position is available in Edmonton or Fort McMurray.

As the Casework Supervisor, you will provide critical oversight and direction for casework teams, focusing on compliance with the Child, Youth, and Family Enhancement Act.

Your role emphasizes leadership, case management, and team support, fostering a culture that promotes healing and resilience within the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide and lead casework staff for effective service

• Monitor financial budgets and staff performance

• Assist with case planning and court documentation

• Maintain accurate record-keeping and reporting

• Represent the agency at community events and meetings

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant field

• 3+ years in Child Intervention services

• 2+ years in a supervisory capacity

• Registration with Alberta College of Social Workers preferred

• Strong problem-solving and confidentiality skills
