CAT-VAC Operator

Birch Mountain Enterprises is looking to hire experienced CAT-VAC Operators for our client site, for seasonal work. Must be TDG knowledgeable, with wiggle wagon operating experience, minimum class 3 license with manual transmission experience, and an asset.

Operating from our client’s site, this position involves the safe operation of Cat Vac
. Operators should be mechanically inclined and physically fit to work in all kinds of weather. Preference will be given to candidates who possess previous experience in the industrial sector.

• Operate Cat Vacsafely and efficiently.
• Must be physically able to perform tasks and work in all weather.
• Completion of daily documentation including but not limited to dailylogbooks, customer work orders, field level risk assessment, pre/post tripinspections.
• Follow instructions for tasks assigned by Dispatch or Supervisor.
• Complete daily housekeeping of assigned truck to ensure maintenance of company image.
• Attend dailytoolboxand safety meetings as scheduled and adhere to corporate and site safety regulations and procedures.

• Maintain and operate all BME tools and equipment to the required standards and procedures.
• Ensure that all training is kept current.
• Follow all TDG and WHMIS standards and regulations.
• Seek out continuous improvement opportunities.
• Provide customer‑focused services in all activities.

• Possess a minimum valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’sabstract.
• Previous Cat Vac, Wiggle wagon experience. (CAT 740,745)
• Previous or related experience operating at least three of these types of units:
  
  Water, Vacuum, Hydro, orCombo
  
  Vac units.
• Minedriveexperience.
• No Site bans.

• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• OSSA (or BSO/CSO) and CSTS certification.
• H2S Alive.
• Must successfully pass BME driver’s evaluation, D&A, and fit for duty pre‑employment screening.
