COMPANY PROFILEPrimoris Canada is an infrastructure contractor serving major firms in the oil, gas, power, petrochemical, and heavy oil industries and include services covering tailings and hydro-transport pipeline construction and maintenance, storage tank construction and maintenance, industrial facilities multi-discipline construction and maintenance, piping fabrication, and pipeline integrity services.
SUMMARYPrimoris Canada is currently seeking Class 1 Drivers to support operations at the CNRL Sustaining site - Fort McMurray for the 2026 Fall Turnaround.
The Class 1 Driver is responsible for the safe movement of trailers, materials, and equipment utilizing client-supplied shunt trucks within the facility. This position is camp-based and involves working outdoors in a fast-paced industrial environment, which may be physically demanding.

Shift: 24 Days On / 4 Days Off (Days & Nights)
Base Wage: $48.59/hour Accommodation:
Camp providedJOB DUTIESComply with Company and Client Safety rules, as well as OH&S standards
Operate client-supplied shunt trucks to safely move and position trailers, materials, and equipment within the facility
Operate various trucks over outdoor terrain in an industrial setting
Oversee cargo handling and secure loads where applicable
Complete pre-job vehicle/equipment checks
Attend required safety and tailgate/toolbox meetings
Maintain situational awareness in high-traffic work areas
May perform other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSMust possess a valid Class 1 Driver’s License and provide a clean 5-year abstract prior to hire Previous experience operating trucks in an industrial environment is considered an asset
Experience maneuvering trailers in tight spaces is an asset
Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbsAble to work a 24/4 rotational shift (days and nights)
Must be comfortable working in a camp-based environment
Strong safety mindset with the ability to follow procedures
Able to work well in a team environment
