Steam Truck Labourer

Birch Mountain Enterprises seeks Steam Truck Labourers for temporary positions at Fort Hills. Engage in the efficient washing of heavy machinery while adhering to high safety standards in various weather conditions.

This role encompasses operating high-pressure steam trucks and maintaining meticulous documentation on tasks performed. Candidates should hold a Class 5 license with Air Brake endorsement, preferably with experience using steam trucks. A mechanical aptitude and physical fitness are essential for success in this outdoor-focused position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize high-pressure steam trucks for cleaning duties

• Maintain logs and work orders for completed tasks

• Rise to supervisory directives and task instructions

• Ensure truck cleanliness and appearance

• Engage in scheduled safety discussions and comply with protocols

Requirements:

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract

• Proven experience in steam truck operation

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Certifications:

WHMIS, OSSA, CSTS

• Successful completion of pre-employment evaluations
