Field- Machine Operator

Position: Field-Based Machine Operator 1
Join Loram as a Machine Operator 1, focusing on railway equipment operation and maintenance. This role is full-time with a commitment to safety and travel.

As a Machine Operator, you'll play a key role in the operation of Loram's railway maintenance equipment, balancing technical tasks with safety compliance. You’ll lead job briefings, conduct inspections, and perform repairs while keeping an eye on machine performance. Your strong communication and reporting skills will be integral in maintaining effective operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate on-track vehicles safely and efficiently

• Inspect machinery for failures and report findings

• Document daily operational reports and issues

• Ensure safety practices during maintenance tasks

• Assist in training for operational protocols and equipment

Requirements:

• 3+ months of experience with Loram equipment preferred

• 2+ years of technical experience in machinery

• Effective communication and documentation skills

• CPR/First Aid certification and valid Driver’s License

• Willingness to undergo travel for job requirements
