Fort McMurray Class One Driver

Acden is hiring a Class One Driver for its Saprae Creek Facility in Fort McMurray, Alberta. This permanent role operates on a 7-day on, 7-day off schedule with a focus on waste services.

As a driver with Acden, you will be integral to waste management operations within a supportive environment fostered by the Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation. Candidates must hold a valid Class One licence and have substantial truck-driving experience. Responsibilities include operating diverse vehicles, performing inspections, and addressing client queries, ensuring the highest standards of service and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate various trucks and hydraulic hoisting devices

• Perform vehicle inspections and report issues promptly

• Monitor waste bin functionality and report defects

• Advise dispatch on site conditions and delays

• Complete waste service tasks safely and efficiently

Requirements:

• Must have a valid Class One Operator’s Licence

• At least three years of qualified truck-driving experience

• Safe driving history evidenced by a driver’s abstract

• Must pass manual Class One vehicle evaluation

• Successful clearance through safety tests needed
