Position: Class 1 Operator Opportunity at BME
Become a Class 1 Operator with Birch Mountain Enterprises at the Kearl site, focusing on the safe operation of fluid hauling vehicles. Candidates must hold a valid Class 1 license and have TDG knowledge.
In this role at Birch Mountain's Fort McKay location, you will operate a variety of equipment, including hydro-vacs and tankers. Responsibilities include daily documentation, vehicle maintenance, and participation in safety protocols. Strong candidates will have at least three years of experience in manual transmission equipment, contributing to the team’s safety and efficiency objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Class 1 units like water tankers and vacuum trucks

• Ensure accurate daily log and inspection completion

• Receive tasks from dispatch and follow through

• Maintain assigned truck in pristine condition

• Engage in daily toolbox safety discussions
Requirements:

• Clean Class 1 driver’s license with a solid record

• Minimum of 3 years manual driving experience

• Familiarity with vacuum and hydro-vac operations preferred

• Good communication and documentation skills

• Relevant safety certifications are advantageous
