Heartland Constructors Class 1 Operator Position

Elevate your career as a Class 1 Equipment Operator with Heartland Constructors at Suncor Forthills, Fort McMurray. This position features a 7 days on, 7 days off schedule and a focus on operational efficiency.

Starting from July 16th until October 28th, 2026, this temporary role is designed for individuals with a strong background in equipment operation. You will be responsible for all aspects of equipment use, including hauling materials with Super B trailers and conducting thorough pre-operational checks. Your commitment to safety and adherence to company policies will drive success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate all required equipment according to policies

• Secure loads and ensure compliance with regulations

• Conduct thorough pre-operational equipment inspections

• Communicate effectively with on-site personnel

• Regular maintenance and servicing of machinery

Requirements:

• Clean Class 1 driver's license

• At least 3 years of operational experience

• Must hold Skid Steer and Overhead Crane certifications

• Must pass relevant safety training requirements

• Negative results on drug and alcohol test
