Machine Operator Railway Operations

Position: Machine Operator 1 for Railway Operations
Take on the role of Machine Operator 1 at Loram, executing the operation and maintenance of vital railway equipment with an emphasis on safety. This is a traveling position that offers field-based experience.
As a Machine Operator 1, you will support Loram's mission by managing equipment used in railway maintenance and inspections.

Your role will require technical expertise in machine operations and a commitment to safety. Ideal applicants will have significant technical experience and an aptitude for learning in dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate operational and maintenance equipment for railways

• Inspect machines for defects, reporting conditions accurately

• Conduct maintenance and repairs as needed

• Complete daily and administrative reports efficiently

• Conduct safety briefings and ensure compliance
Requirements:

• Experience in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems (2+ years)

• Previous work with Loram or similar equipment is advantageous

• Valid Driver’s License and necessary railroad certifications

• Exceptional communication skills for reporting purposes

• Ability to perform in challenging physical environments
