Class 3 Operator

Position: Class 3 Operator at Clean Harbors
Join Clean Harbors in Fort McMurray, AB as a Class 3 Operator, responsible for driving and operating units while ensuring safety through compliance. This role involves various tasks dictated by the client in a safety-conscious environment.

As part of the Union Local 362 Teamsters, you will work a 14/14 rotation with 12-hour shifts. Your responsibilities include vehicle inspections, staging equipment for jobs, and performing roadside repairs when necessary. Ideal candidates will have significant driving experience, especially with Hydrovac and vac truck units, among other qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive, operate, and stage assigned units

• Perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections

• Prepare job sites and stage necessary equipment

• Maintain accurate driver logbook records

• Communicate effectively with dispatchers throughout the day

Requirements:

• Class 1 or 3 driver’s license mandatory

• 18-speed manual transmission experience required

• Three years of oilsands or industrial experience

• Valid First Aid, H2S Alive, and CSO certifications needed

• Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
