Class 1 Tank Truck Driver

Drive for GFL as a Class 1 Tank Truck Driver in Fort McMurray. This role involves transporting liquid wastes safely throughout Alberta while adhering to strict safety regulations.

In this Monday to Friday position, you will be responsible for managing loads and ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation.

Your role includes conducting safety inspections, maintaining accurate documentation, and communicating effectively with both customers and team members to ensure success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport various liquid wastes with tri-drive/quad trucks

• Secure loads to ensure safety during transport

• Conduct safety checks before each trip

• Maintain detailed driver logs and manifests

• Communicate with customers and coworkers efficiently

Requirements:

• Hold a valid Class 1 Commercial Driving License

• Skilled in operating manual transmission vehicles

• Experience in safety-sensitive driving roles

• Successfully complete pre-hire screenings

• Strong mechanical aptitude and organizational abilities
