Vertex is seeking Class 1 Operators to join their Pressure and Vac field team in Fort McMurray, Alberta. This full-time, rotational 24/16 opportunity is ideal for experienced drivers with a strong safety record and a commitment to customer service. • Valid Class 1 driver’s license with a clean commercial abstract
• Minimum 2 years of Combo Unit or Semi Vac running experience
• Minimum 2 years of hauling fluids with Super B’s and Tankers experience
• Safety tickets including H2S Alive, First Aid and CSO
• Drug & Alcohol Testing (provided by Vertex)
• ELD logbook experience
• Commitment to environmental compliance and safe work practices
• Ability to work independently and manage time/productivity
• Good health and physical condition
• Willingness to accept out of town work when necessary

• Knowledge and experience in Pulp & Paper, Thermal and Oil & Gas
• Possession of CSTS 2020, Fall Protection, and Confined Space Entry & Monitor safety tickets
