The role of Transit Hostler demands a hands-on professional capable of performing tasks such as fueling and cleaning municipal transit vehicles. Candidates will need two years of relevant experience and the ability to execute minor mechanical repairs while complying with all safety standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Operate transit vehicles and manage fleet parking

• Perform fueling and fluid maintenance checks

• Sweep and thoroughly clean bus interiors

• Report any vehicle issues or service needs

• Maintain records of fuel consumption and vehicle status

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• Minimum two years experience in fleet maintenance

• Class Three Operator's License required

• Must possess Q-endorsement for air brakes
