Your role will focus on safety, operational efficiency, and teamwork at the Suncor Fort Hills site.
This position, with the local 362 Teamsters Union, requires a FULL Class 5 license and articulated rock truck experience. You will work a 14/14 rotation, ensuring equipment cleanliness, conducting inspections, and completing vital paperwork. Adherence to health and safety protocols is the top priority in this role, while also collaborating with customers and coworkers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate vacuum truck safely and efficiently
• Conduct pre and post trip inspections diligently
• Maintain cleanliness of all equipment used
• Attend daily safety meetings actively
• Complete required documentation accurately
Requirements:
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License essential
• Minimum one year of labor-intensive experience required
• Open pit mine driving certification needed
• HEO Ticket required for operations
• Ability to lift 50lbs regularly and work outdoors
