Fort McKay Mining Operations Leader

Take charge of mining operations as a Team Leader with Fort McKay Group of Companies LP. This full-time role emphasizes safety and production efficiency on the Syncrude Aurora Site.
As the Team Leader, you will coordinate the tasks of over 25 operators, ensuring their safety and productivity while meeting shift targets. Collaborating with the Shift Supervisor, you'll oversee staff training, risk mitigation, and adherence to safety protocols. Your leadership will be critical in fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily activities of mining operators

• Ensure compliance with safety and performance standards

• Manage staffing and training for operational tasks

• Conduct inspections and safety audits

• Maintain accurate records and report activities
Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Over 3 years in a supervisory mining role

• Valid AMSA supervisor certificate

• Heavy equipment experience required

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
