Overview

Talint’s client is a growing and respected provider of safety and quality management consulting and services in the construction industry to both government and commercial clients. The client is seeking a Site Safety Manager to oversee safety compliance on a major construction project at Fort Meade in Maryland. The role requires at least 10 years of progressive safety experience,
CSP or CHST Certification and EM 385-1-1 compliance. This position is onsite Monday through Friday 6:00 am to 3:00 pm, with occasional weekend work.

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 8 years of construction safety experience
• Experience with 5+ large projects ($100M+)
• CSP or CHST or other BCSP Certification
• EM 385-1-1 experience (certification preferred)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily site walks to engage workers and document safety observations
• Attend subcontractor morning huddles and Safe Plan of Action meetings
• Review subcontractor safety onboarding packages and Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs)
• Create and post site signage
• Attend Clark team meetings, client progress meetings, and foreman meetings as required
• Run safety orientation sessions
