Network Security Engineer Skill Level 3

Overview

Network Security Engineer Skill Level 3 at EnDepth Solutions, LLC. The ideal candidate will provide engineering expertise to analyze complex systems, architecture, network design and other technical hardware issues. The role includes hardware procurement, testing, maintenance, deployment, site surveys, and installation across CONUS and OCONUS. This position requires coordinating hardware specifications, design input, and documentation to meet user requirements.

• Analyze complex systems, architecture, and network design to address hardware issues.
• Procure and perform acceptance testing on equipment.
• Provide preventative and remedial hardware maintenance support.
• Deploy, install, and implement hardware at CONUS and OCONUS locations.
• Prepare hardware specifications by analyzing documented and derived system requirements.
• Conduct site surveys and prepare engineering plans and site Technical Design Packages.
• Organize and direct hardware installations; configure and document configuration of computers, networking devices, and peripheral equipment.
• Prepare site installation and test reports; ensure problems are properly identified and solutions meet user requirements.
• Prepare reports and recommendations on existing and emerging hardware technologies.
• Provide input to hardware components of system design for end-user devices, servers, networking devices, data storage devices, and specialized processors.

• Seventeen (17) years of experience as a Network Security Engineer analyzing complex hardware systems for SIGINT solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related discipline from an accredited college or university; five (5) years of additional Network Security engineering experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
• Must meet DoD approved 8570 Baseline Certification for IAT Level III and possess at least 3 of the following certifications: PCNSA, SNSA, SNSP, Symantec Proxy
  
  SG 6.7 Technical Specialist, Cisco CCNA or higher.
• Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
