Responsibilities- Design and implement DSP algorithms in software and hardware, specifically on Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs).
- Develop high throughput signal exploitation algorithms with emphasis on low signal-to-noise ratio, higher-order, and adaptive modulations.
- Modify existing software and firmware to adapt Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) products to meet special government needs.
- Provide concise explanations of developed models to allow team members to understand and utilize algorithms for processing signals of interest.
- Act as a technology expert, directing implementation of sub-modules necessary for processing signals.
- Develop novel approaches for utilizing COTS and GOTS systems for creating processing solutions outside intended use.
- Design and implement software models in conjunction with subject matter experts using MATLAB or similar design suites.
- Implement software modules necessary for processing signals of interest and analyze module/model output to support follow-on processes.
- Independently design and implement software models, ensuring alignment with processing requirements.
- TS/SCI clearance with agency appropriate polygraph.
- Ten (10) years experience as a DSP algorithm developer.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science from an accredited college or university.
- Five (5) years of additional DSP experience may substitute for a Bachelor’s degree.

Pay Range: $80.87 - $109.51 per hour
