Join Capital Solutions Group (CSG) as a key member of our corporate management team. This role reports directly to the CEO and provides strategic financial leadership across our Government Services organization.

Duties & Responsibilities- Lead day‑to‑day accounting functions: general ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.
- Ensure compliance, accuracy, and readiness of CSG’s financial systems.
- Oversee project accounting, contract compliance, invoicing, and reporting in accordance with GAAP, FAR, and DCAA requirements.
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of current financials and implement improvements.
- Modernize and manage the Unanet Timekeeping and Financial system.
- Prepare and deliver timely financial reporting, including semi‑monthly payroll reports, annual audits, and executive statements.
- Support budgeting & forecasting, financial tracking across the operating group’s contract portfolio, and strategic decision‑making.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Accounts Receivable and corporate accounting issues.
- Coordinate with HR on benefits administration, payroll compliance, and timekeeping inquiries.
- Manage tax compliance and preparation of tax filings; coordinate with external auditors.
- Participate in EOS Leadership meetings and provide financial leadership to the executive team.
- Maintain excellent communication skills, integrity, and leadership courage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
- 15+ years of finance/accounting experience in a government contracting environment, or 5+ years of federal government finance experience to offset lack of degree.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, FAR, DCAA, and project‑based accounting.
- Proficiency with accounting software, electronic bill‑pay systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience managing Complex T&M or Cost‑Plus contracts and project accounting.
- Strong analytical and strategic recommendation skills.
- Experience working remotely; ability to manage multiple clients independently.
- U.S. citizenship required due to federal contracting obligations.
- Telework 95% of the time; 5% travel to Columbia, MD as scheduled.
- Business hours 8:00 am – 5:00 pm; availability by phone and video conferencing for executive meetings.
- Full‑time, exempt position.
