About the Position

The work involves planning and carrying out the testing program, coordinating the work with other laboratory sections, and interpreting policy in terms of established objectives and forensic requirements. Responsible for determining qualitative level of a given drug in an individual sample, a differentiating a non-negative sample from a negative sample and obtaining quantitative results for validity tests.

• Responsible for determining qualitative level of a given drug in an individual sample, while differentiating a non-negative sample from a negative sample.
• Responsible for highly sophisticated equipment having exacting, elaborate and complex instrumentation.
• Performs analysis of urine for the detection of drugs of abuse and specimen validity.
• Prepares written correspondence and laboratory documentation.
• Testifies in court (world-wide), as to the operating procedures relating to the immunoassay screening for urine specimens being tested for selected drugs of abuse.
