System Engineer - Level 2 - Geo

Stratum Networks is a rapidly growing information assurance and cybersecurity solutions company that provides high-end network and security consulting to Department of Defense and Intelligence Community clients.

We are looking for a talented and passionate Service Now Developer to support a client in the Annapolis Junction, MD area.

CANDIDATES MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE TS/SCI WITH POLYGRAPH TO BE CONSIDERED.

Job Description:

• Design architecture and develop solutions to meet organizational needs while enhancing your skillset and career.
• Join a small, talented team creating enterprise-level web-based services.
• Maintain and troubleshoot web applications deployed in cloud and on-premise environments.

Required Skills:

• Experience with one or more of:
  Python, Java, .Net C#, PHP, Node.js, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue.js, React.
• Experience with databases like Maria
  
  DB, MS SQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Leadership experience or mentoring junior developers.
• Deploying services in Linux environments.
• Experience with Nginx, Apache Tomcat, and IIS.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies.

Desired

Skills:

• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud services.
• Scripting experience with Power Shell, Perl, Python.
• Experience in Agile environments and Git.

Salary: $119k - $247k depending on experience, with excellent benefits including paid vacation, holidays, healthcare, and 401(k).

Qualifications:

• 14+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer in similar scope programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields or additional experience in lieu thereof.
• DoD 8570.01-M IAM Level II certification or higher.
