Usability​/Human Factors Engineer; UX

Silver Edge is a premier provider of innovative cyber, software and intelligence solutions addressing everyday challenges to meet mission goals across the DOD and Intel Communities and beyond. We are seeking an Usability/Human Factors Engineer to provide customer support.

The UX team collaborates with developers, managers, and system engineers to ensure intelligence products remain modern, cutting-edge, and highly usable. The team researches and documents user workflows, designs intuitive front-end systems, creates mockups, engages with users for feedback, and works closely with multiple development teams to enhance analyst tools. The team uses tools such as, Pen Pot, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, and Microsoft Office.

• Experience working with system end users by creating user surveys and organizing focus groups to obtain user feedback
• Experience working closely with application developers, including product designers and process engineers, to create user interface design specifications
• Experience creating user surveys and organizing focus groups to obtain feedback from system end users
• Experience researching and documenting user requirements including profiles, frequent tasks, workflows, and user scenarios to make strategic modifications
• Experience directing/conducting usability testing while collaborating with the application design team
• Proficiency in one or more design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, XD, and Pen Pot
