Computer Network Defense Analyst

We are seeking a Computer Network Defense Analyst to support a cyber mission. The Computer Network Defense (CND) Analyst will analyze, map, protect, or discover vulnerabilities, intrusions, and threats in computer network systems. Conduct computer/network security activities, including target development, firewall administration, encryption technologies, and network protocols.

Level 1: A Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience. Alternatively, an Associate’s degree plus 4 years of relevant experience, or at least 18 semester hours of military coursework/training in networking, computer science, or cyber topics plus 4 years of relevant experience.

Level 2: A Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree plus 3 years, or a Doctoral degree plus 2 years. Alternatively, an Associate’s degree plus 7 years, or at least 18 semester hours of military coursework plus 7 years of relevant experience.

Level 3: A Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree plus 6 years, or a Doctoral degree plus 4 years. Alternatively, an Associate’s degree plus 10 years, or at least 18 semester hours of military coursework plus 10 years of relevant experience.

Level 4: A Bachelor’s degree plus 11 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree plus 9 years, or a Doctoral degree plus 7 years. Alternatively, coursework/training in networking, computer science, or cyber topics plus 13 years of relevant experience.
