SENIOR – SENTINEL DEVELOPER

Location: Fort Meade, MD | Type: Full-Time | Clearance: TS/SCI

Dark Star Intelligence is seeking a Senior Sentinel Developer to support critical intelligence mission systems at Fort Meade, MD. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced data science, artificial intelligence, and software engineering techniques to develop, integrate, and optimize algorithms supporting intelligence search, discovery, and predictive analysis for the U.S. Government.

• Develop and utilize machine learning and data mining algorithms, including Multiple Information Model Synthesis Architecture (MIMOSA) prediction algorithms based on open-source capabilities.
• Integrate and code algorithms supporting Government intelligence search and discovery missions.
• Provide recommendations for managing data within hardware, software, storage, and bandwidth constraints.
• Employ data science and AI techniques for predictive analysis, social media analytics, wargaming, and strategy development.
• Conduct exploratory analysis of large datasets to rapidly derive actionable intelligence insights.
• Prepare written, visual, and verbal intelligence products documenting findings, trends, and methodologies.

  Experience:
  
  20 years of relevant experience with a High School Diploma; 16 years with an AA/AS; 14 years with a BA/BS; or 12 years with an MA/MS.
• Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in mathematics, statistics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, network science, data mining, data engineering, and probability modeling.
• Experience producing analytical or technical documentation integrating large, complex datasets into intelligence products.

• Experience supporting IC or DoD data science or machine learning programs.
• Proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languages used for algorithm development and data analytics.
• Familiarity with Sentinel or MIMOSA architectures and related analytic frameworks.
• Experience mentoring junior developers or data scientists within technical project teams.

Salary Range: $120,000 – $125,000. Final compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, internal equity, and market data. Dark Star provides a competitive and comprehensive benefits package designed to support the well‑being and long‑term success of our full‑time employees.
