Job Overview

ARSIEM is looking for a motivated AI/ML Prototype Developer to capture requirements, create innovative prototypes, deploy solutions to evaluate, and tune machine learning models capable of integrating, referencing, making inferences, and consolidating data into a holistic view. This position will support one of our government clients in Fort Meade, MD.

• Collaborate closely with customers to accelerate evaluation and tuning of machine learning models’ abilities to integrate, reference, make inferences, and consolidate data into a holistic view.
• Write and evolve prototype techniques leveraging diverse architectures and methods.
• Provide database administration, dataflow engineering, data wrangling, and model development.

• Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Proficiency with, but not limited to, Python (Sci Kit‑learn, Tensor Flow, PyTorch), R, GIT, and experience with Jupyter Notebooks.
• Ability to provide database administration for relational databases and Tensor Flow.

• Proficiency in augmenting, providing context, and/or fine‑tuning large language models for generative tasks using approaches such as, but not limited to, retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) and model context protocol (MCP).

Compensation

$191,000 - $214,000 a year

This position requires an active TS/SCI with a polygraph. You must be a U.S. citizen for consideration.

Candidate Referral

The bonus for this position is $10,000, and the referrer is eligible to receive the sum for any applicant we can place within 12 months of referral.

The bonus is paid after the referred employee reaches six months of employment.
