Database Administrator (DBA) / Engineer (DBE) – CLEARANCE and POLYGRAPH REQUIRED

• Must be a US Citizen
• Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph
• Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline. Four (04) years of additional DB experience can be used in lieu of degree
• At least ten (10) years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator
• Experience administering Oracle database environments (10 – current) with Oracle Exadata, DB security, Data Guard and/or DB Vault, Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control, label security, and data migration
• Extensive experience with database design and modeling; experience gathering requirements for database migration, troubleshooting, performance observation and tuning
• Significant experience with RAC, RMAN backup & recovery
• Supporting DB design, development, implementation, information storage & retrieval, data flow, and analysis activities
• Translating requirements into usable database schemas; creating/updating queries, scripts, and macros to manipulate data
• Developing database structures that fit into the overall system architecture

• Technology and industry leadership on large or complex IT engagements
• Lead enterprise-wide solution engagements within time and budget constraints
• Design and implement full stack architecture integrating GOTS, COTS, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and third-party components
• Provide SME guidance to assist customers through difficult decisions
• Recommend enhancements to meet complex customer needs

• Support database design, development, implementation, information storage and retrieval, data flow, and analysis activities
• Assist in developing long-term and short-term database administration and design requirements
• Assist in developing databases, database parser software, and database loading software
• Translate requirements into usable database schemas and create/update queries and macros
• Develop DB structures that fit into the overall architecture of the system under development
• Contribute to development of requirements from project inception to completion for applicable business and IT areas
