We are seeking a resourceful Jr Acquisition Analyst to provide technical support to the Navy Cyber Warfare Developmental Group (NCWDG). As a key member of our team, the Jr Acquisition Analyst will provide acquisition support to the US Navy. Place of performance for this position is Annapolis Junction, MD.
Responsibilities- Prepare briefings and strategy recommendations for the Milestone Decision Authority (MDA)
- Prepare Joint Capabilities Integration and Development Systems (JCIDS) documentation including, but not limited to, those listed in DoD 5000.02
- Attend, document, and summarize meetings
- Provide training and develop evaluation board analysis reports for proposal evaluations
- Develop program and project documentation, risk management documentation, acquisition plans, and program schedules
- Coordinate quarterly Program Management Review for the PMO, including briefing template development, scheduling, briefing book preparation, and meeting coordination
- Monitor Cost, Schedule, and Performance of NCWDG entities
- Up to 2 years' experience related to systems acquisition, including logistics, research and development, configuration management, or systems analysis or design
- Up to 2 years' experience working on science and technology or research, development, test and evaluation programs
- Experience briefing and developing briefs for Officers
- Experience with Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE), including development of acquisition strategies, budget and financial management documentation, and monitoring project performance and contract deliverables
- Proficient managing research and development projects
- Proficient developing program budgets and program execution plans to track against financial benchmarks
- Proficient with DoD contracting procedures and guidance including DFARS and FAR
- Bachelor's degree in Management or Business
- Top Secret current/active
- Possess eligibility for upgrade to TS/SCI in the near future upon hire
- Be able to pass a Counterintelligence polygraph examination in the future
- Possess an investigation that is current within 6 years
- Personnel enrolled in CE will also be eligible
- DAU Level 2 Certification (in Program Management, SPRDE, or Systems Engineering) or equivalent (in progress acceptable)
The position is contingent upon the candidate's ability to meet physical and medical requirements as needed by the position, including compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local jurisdictional requirements.

Salary is determined by factors including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $110,000-$120,000 per year (USD).
This range is a typical salary range and is only one component of MAG's total compensation package.
