Cloud Engineer Security Clearance

Position: Cloud Engineer with Security Clearance
Piper Companies is looking for a Cloud Engineer to join a government contractor in Fort Meade, MD. This role requires the candidate to report onsite 3x a week and have an active Secret Clearance Essential Duties of the Cloud Engineer:
* Work with teams to bring continuous improvement to Dev Sec Ops  processes and tools

* Act as trusted automation and tooling advisor for Cloud and Dev Sec Ops  initiatives by providing objective, practical and relevant ideas, insights, and advice

* Recommend and implement industry standards

* Implement and ensure adherence to security practices and incorporate them into the automated pipelines
Qualifications of the Cloud Engineer:
* Bachelor's degree preferred and 5+ years of relevant experience with Dev Sec Ops

* 3+ years of experience with Azure and other Cloud environments

* 3+ years of experience with application and operating system security

* 3+ years of hands-on experience creating CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Helm, Nexus

* 3+ years' hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Ansible and Terraform

* 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes in an Azure cloud environment

* Active Secret security clearance required
Compensation for the Cloud Engineer: * $160,000 - $190,000 (based on experience)
