About the Role We’re looking for a Senior Windows Engineer to provision, manage, and support Windows server environments across both online and air-gapped networks. In this role, you’ll own system reliability end-to-end — from proactive monitoring and patching to root cause analysis and incident resolution. You’ll work closely with users and architects to translate requirements into actionable technical solutions while providing escalated support across the full help desk tier spectrum.

Responsibilities Provision, manage, and support Windows servers across online and air-gapped network environments

Configure network adapters, storage, firewalls, and connected core services

Deploy and maintain monitoring tools to detect system anomalies and prevent service disruptions

Perform root cause analysis on outages and implement preventive fixes

Support hardware, software, and appliance deployments, upgrades, and security patching

Translate user requirements and system architectures into technical specifications

Provide Tier 1–3 help desk support for client, server, and network issues

Manage OS patching, hardware maintenance, and account administration including password resets and ticketing

Required Qualifications Hands-on experience provisioning and managing Windows Server in enterprise environments

Experience supporting air-gapped or classified network environments

Proficiency configuring network adapters, storage systems, and host-based firewalls

Experience with system monitoring tools for anomaly detection and alerting

Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills for infrastructure outages

Experience with OS patching and security patch management processes

Tier 1–3 help desk and escalation support experience

Desired Qualifications

Experience with hardware appliance deployment and lifecycle management

Familiarity with Active Directory account administration and ticketing systems

Ability to translate system architecture diagrams into technical build specifications

Experience in environments requiring strict change management and security compliance
