About the Role We are looking for a Systems Integration Engineer to install, configure, and integrate prototype applications in a secure lab environment supporting customer experimentation and technical evaluation. You will provide hands-on systems and network administration support across a range of hardware and software infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a technical lab setting and enjoys solving complex integration challenges.
Responsibilities Install, configure, and integrate prototype applications for technical evaluation in a lab environment
Administer Linux-based systems and support network infrastructure including servers and storage (NAS)
Implement security best practices including PKI certificate generation, deployment, and maintenance
Support hardware installation and configuration for servers and network infrastructure
Write and maintain Unix shell scripts (Bash, Bourne, or C shell) to automate tasks and support operations
Provide application administration and IT support to customers developing and testing experiments
Maintain system security posture in accordance with organizational standards and policies
Required Qualifications Strong Linux system administration experience
Experience in systems and/or network administration, application administration, or IT support
Experience supporting hardware installation including servers and network infrastructure
Experience configuring network-attached storage (NAS)
Experience implementing PKI certificate generation, deployment, and maintenance
Knowledge of Unix shell scripting (Bash, Bourne, or C shell)
IAT-I certification (e.g., Security+ CE)
Desired Qualifications Experience deploying and maintaining nginx
Familiarity with Docker and Red Hat Satellite Familiarity with cloud computing environments such as AWS Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, SALT, or Ansible
Experience with system monitoring platforms such as Prometheus and Grafana
