** area.
- Design, implement, and manage enterprise-level virtualized environments and infrastructure.
- Provide full-lifecycle systems administration for hardware and software across development, test, and production environments.
- Deploy and maintain IT automation solutions to streamline operational tasks within secure, isolated network architectures.
- Engineer and optimize scalable storage solutions and complex file system configurations.
- Author and present technical program documentation and briefings for senior-level management and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 14+ years of relevant Systems Engineering experience; or an Associate’s degree with 19+ years’ experience.
- Experience with Linux administration and engineering.
- 3 years of active, hands-on experience using at least one of the following:
Kubernetes/Rancher OR Ansible including AAP (Ansible Automation Platform) OR AWS Virtual Environment Provisioning, Management, Orchestration - Proficiency in Bash scripting and infrastructure automation
- Experience orchestrating enterprise virtualization (VMware vSphere) OR Nutanix Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI).
- Advanced scripting in Python or Perl.
- Proficiency in PKI certificate management and hardware security modules.
- Experience implementing automated security hardening (STIGs/CIS).
- AWS Virtual Environment Provisioning, Management, Orchestration Certification
- Current/Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time.
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as, the copy machine/fax machine/computer/printer.
