We are seeking an Electronics Technician 3 to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit. As part of the SES Strategic Business Unit, you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates, and maintains electronic security services including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio-visual systems, IT systems, perimeter defense, and command and control systems for federal, local, and commercial clients across high-growth markets.
Responsibilities- Perform on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems, ensuring functionality and reliability.
- Conduct site surveys, configure hardware and software, test systems, and provide technical support to customers.
- Follow safety protocols, participate in quality reviews, track project metrics, and ensure documentation accuracy.
- Install system raceway, cabling, equipment racks, and panels, adhering to industry standards.
- Manage configurations, troubleshoot network and IT equipment, and ensure quality control.
- Lead commissioning efforts, communicate effectively with teams and clients, and mentor crew members.
- Coordinate manpower, materials, and resources, and adapt to changing responsibilities.
Clearance/Citizen Type: U.S. Citizenship required; active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph necessary.
Education:
- HS diploma or GED, military electronics training, graduation from an electronics technician or electrical apprenticeship program, plus three years of electronics installation/maintenance experience.
Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 6 years of electronics installation/maintenance on multiple systems.
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; valid driver’s license required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Vendor certifications in IDS, CCTV, access control systems, and experience with relevant security systems.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Pay Range: USD $32.00 - USD $46.42 /Hr.
