JOB DESCRIPTION
:
Software Engineer to implement, test, and operate using advanced software security techniques in compliance with the technical reference architecture to enhance software systems. Perform on-going security testing and participate in code reviews to improve software security and features

• Debug, design, and code new software or modify existing software. Provide and recommend engineering designs for new software solutions to help mitigate security vulnerabilities
• Contribute on all levels of the architecture and maintain technical documentation. Collaborate with team members and exchange knowledge on secure coding practices. Ability to develop a familiarity with new tools and best practices

REQUIRED
:

• A minimum of six (6) years demonstrated experience out of the most recent eight (8) years developing production software for Solaris or Linux environments
• Six years (6) of experience developing software using the Java programming language or C or C++
• Demonstrated work experience developing RESTful services
• Demonstrated work experience developing infrastructure as code
• Demonstrated work experience with continuous integration and deployment tools such as Ansible and Terraform
• Demonstrated work experience in Java development
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Previous experience developing analytics applications
• Demonstrated work experience with Open Source (No
  
  SQL) products such as Hbase/Accumulo, Big Table, etc

EXPERIENCE:

Masters Degree + 16 years or Bachelor’s degree + 20 years.

NOTE:

Degree in computer science or IT computer engineering from an accredited college or university.
