Fullstack Developer

Piper Companies is looking for a Fullstack Developer to join a government contractor in Fort Meade, MD
. This role requires the candidate to report onsite 3x a week and have an active Secret Clearance.

• Participate in the full agile application development life cycle for microservice API development using Java Spring Boot in support of a React front‑end web application
• Work collaboratively as a full stack developer on Agile Scrum teams and complete user stories and develop usable code independently with minimal oversight and guidance
• Assist development/test teams in activities in support of acceptance testing, load testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning as required
• Communicate committed stories for the upcoming sprint to backlog owners and stakeholders, and demonstrate functionality when complete or requested

• Bachelor's degree preferred and 8+ years of relevant experience with Java/React Development
• Experience developing code in microservice-based architectures
• 3+ years of Agile experience utilizing Dev Sec Ops  & CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with the DoD STIG process
• Active Secret security clearance required

• $140,000 - $160,000 (based on experience)
