SoftwareIntegration Engineer
The Software Integration Engineer shall develop software Tools and Services in a PaaS Linux environment supporting an “on‑prem” cloud offering with open source software using Kubernetes, Docker, Rook, and other cutting‑edge tools. Expertise in working in a containerized landlord/tenant environment is essential. The engineer will support the development of tools and services that increase the efficiency of software to production within a Dev Ops culture and will provide expertise in integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.
Responsibilities- Integrate, install, configure, upgrade, compile, and support COTS/GOTS software.
- Generate documentation for the full software stack.
- Update software for sustainment support.
- Perform basic Linux system administration and shell scripting.
- Execute test codes for characterization of software performance.
- Provide software product ownership for HPC tools.
- Work with CM tools, web documentation, and issue tracking.
- Adapt quickly in a fast‑paced environment and switch between various architectural paradigms.

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field and at least eight (8) years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.
OR five (5) years full‑time Computer Science directly related work that can be substituted for a degree and at least eight (8) years of demonstrable experience.
OR an industry recognized professional certification, as defined in the TT0s, may substitute as one (1) year experience. A Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field may substitute for two (2) years’ experience.
OR bachelor’s degree and ten (10) years of demonstrable experience.
OR five (5) years full‑time Computer Science directly related work that can be substituted for a degree and at least ten (10) years of demonstrable experience.
OR an industry recognized professional certification at one (1) year; a Master’s Degree may substitute for two (2) years.
Required Skills- Experience with Linux CLI.
- Experience writing scripts using Bash/Python.
- General technical knowledge of compute, network, memory, and storage system components.
- Experience with IaC principles and tools such as Salt Stack, Puppet, and Ansible.
- In‑depth experience troubleshooting large Linux clusters.
- Demonstrated experience using system monitoring tools such as Prometheus/Grafana.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Experience administering/monitoring Kubernetes clusters.
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence).
- Experience using Git for version control.
- Experience using Helm to deploy Kubernetes applications.
- Experience using Git Lab CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and applications.
TS/SCI with Polygraph.

CompensationTypical salary range starts at $180,000 and stretches up to $250,000. We are committed to rewarding top talent beyond the standard range.
