Keep the Mission Running. We are seeking a Software Engineer II (SWE2) to join a dynamic Python development team focused on a critical data migration effort
. In this role, you will design and implement software solutions to transform and migrate data between two complex systems
, ensuring the source data is accurately manipulated to align with the target system’s data structure.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and maintain Python-based solutions to support large-scale data migration between enterprise systems.
- Design and implement data transformation logic to ensure accurate mapping from source to target data structures.
- Contribute to the architecture, design, testing, and documentation of software components.
- Implement and support ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) workflows, ensuring efficient data movement and transformation.
- Utilize APIs, Docker containers, and Ni Fi for scalable, modular software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, version control workflows, and agile development processes using Git and JIRA
.
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Python development and experience with Git and database technologies
. - Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with:
- Docker containers and containerized application development
- APIs and service integration
- Ni Fi for data flow automation
- Data structures (including SQL and No
SQL
)
- Understanding of ETL processes and Python Flask for web services.
