• Seeking an experienced People Soft consultant with strong functional, development, and/or administration expertise to support a customer’s Enterprise Learning Management (ELM) People Soft installation
• This position provides hands‑on functional and development consulting services at the client site and requires a cleared professional who excels in technical problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and system enhancement
• We are looking for motivated self‑starters who enjoy solving complex challenges and working directly with customers and executive leadership in secure environments

• Provide functional, technical, and development support for People Soft ELM within a government or defense environment
• Assess high‑level architectural designs; research implementation roadmaps; conduct feasibility assessments
• Translate complex technical requirements into clear, actionable guidance aligned with customer outcomes
• Drive customer buy‑in and facilitate development processes as needed
• Develop, test, troubleshoot, and optimize People Soft modules and system enhancements
• Collaborate with end users and stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver high‑quality solutions
• Produce reporting artifacts and explain technical concepts to users with varying technical backgrounds
• Work independently and as part of a project team to execute system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements
• Make informed recommendations rooted in deep knowledge of the People Soft ecosystem to ensure low‑cost, long‑term maintainability
• Support the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and contribute to project management activities for small‑to‑medium‑sized efforts

• Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph
• Minimum 8 years of relevant technical experience
• Undergraduate degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Expertise with:
• People Soft ELM, HR, and Financials
• SQL
• People Tools
• Strong knowledge of:
• Selective Adoption
• People Soft Query Manager
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to build rapport with clients and team members
• Experience managing small‑to‑medium‑sized technical projects
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in secure, fast‑paced environments
• Deep understanding of the full software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Passion for technology, continuous learning, and exploring innovative solutions
• Ability to translate between technical and non‑technical audiences

• Strong programming fundamentals and understanding of database concepts
• Advanced troubleshooting and analytical problem‑solving skills
• Experience with Agile/SCRUM methodologies

Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

The pay range for this role is:

155, USD per year (Ft. Meade MD)
