About the RoleWe’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy end-to-end applications that deliver direct operational impact to analyst workflows. You’ll work closely with mission stakeholders, data scientists, and analysts to capture requirements and build solutions across the full stack — from user-facing interfaces to back-end services and cloud-based data pipelines.
Responsibilities- Build and maintain user-facing applications that integrate front-end UI with back-end services to support analyst workflows
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for mission data access and processing
- Incorporate data visualizations to surface actionable insights for analysts
- Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines for secure, reliable application deployment
- Work within cloud environments and customer-specific data repositories to deliver end-to-end solutions
- Collaborate directly with stakeholders, data scientists, and analysts to capture and translate requirements into working software
- Support integration with mission tools including XKS, GM, LABBENCH, PRESSURE WAVE, and Elasticsearch
- Proficiency in Python, PySpark, Java, and Java Script
- Experience with Elasticsearch and Git-based version control workflows
- Hands-on experience with mission data repositories and corporate tooling (XKS, GM, LABBENCH, PRESSURE WAVE)
- Ability to build full-stack applications spanning UI development through back-end API integration
- Experience establishing CI/CD pipelines for application deployment
- Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments
- Database query development and optimization
- Familiarity with the intelligence collection cycle
- Experience with Data Science, Machine Learning (ML), or Artificial Intelligence (AI) workflows
- Exposure to Large Language Models (LLMs) and applied AI tooling
- Full software development lifecycle experience: requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, integration, and maintenance
