About the RoleThis role focuses on developing and maintaining software solutions using Java-based technologies in a cloud-enabled environment. The engineer will work with large-scale data processing frameworks and specialized tooling to support mission requirements.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain Java-based applications in support of operational requirements
- Implement and optimize Map Reduce jobs for large-scale data processing
- Build and deploy solutions within cloud environments
- Work with Ghost Machine and QTA toolsets to support mission workflows
- Collaborate with team members to design scalable, maintainable software solutions
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across the full software stack
- Java development
- Map Reduce / large-scale data processing
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Ghost Machine
- QTA
- Experience with distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
