About the Role We’re looking for a motivated Software Engineer to collaborate directly with mission stakeholders, developers, and analysts to build and automate technical solutions that deliver real operational impact. You’ll develop portable, deployable software that integrates into active mission workflows and modernizes critical analytical tradecraft. This is a hands-on engineering role with direct visibility into how your work drives outcomes.
Responsibilities Develop and maintain software solutions in Python and C++ for integration into operational workflows
Automate tradecraft and analytical processes to improve mission efficiency
Participate in Agile sprint planning, stand-ups, and iterative development cycles
Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability
Build portable, deployable code packages for integration across environments
Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to translate mission needs into technical requirements
Manage source control, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized deployments using Git Lab and Docker
Required Qualifications Proficiency in Python and C++Experience with Agile/Scrum development practices including sprint planning
Familiarity with unit testing frameworks and software quality practices
Experience with Git Lab for source control and CI/CD workflows
Experience with Docker for containerization and deployment
Proficiency with Jira for project and issue tracking
Desired Qualifications Experience developing software in intelligence or signals analysis environments
Familiarity with technical intelligence workflows or SIGINT tooling
Experience building tools that integrate into existing analyst pipelines
