Software Engineer ; IDN

Serving Maryland and the Greater Washington D.C. area, Sage Cor Solutions (Sage Cor) is a growing company bringing complete engineering services and true full lifecycle System Engineering services to areas requiring (or desiring) nationally-recognized expertise in high performance computing, large data analytics and cutting edge information technologies.

Master’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
OR
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
OR
Nine (9) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

The Software Engineer shall be responsible for developing, sustaining, and troubleshooting software suite of applications. Software development activities include implementation, testing, and integration with other COTS and FOSS products, packages, and libraries.

• - Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux Tools
• - Experience developing scripts using Bash/Python
• - Recent software development experience using Java
• -Recent software development experience using the Spring Framework including Spring Boot, Spring Data and Spring Integration
• - Experience with SQL databases including PostgreSQL
• - Experience with No
  
  SQL databases including MongoDB
• - Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and containerd
• - Experience with container orchestration technologies including Kubernetes
• - Experience creating Helm Charts to deploy containerized services in a Kubernetes environment
• - Familiar with Messaging Frameworks such as RabbitMQ and Kafka
• - Familiar with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as Bamboo and Git Lab CI
• - Familiar with IaC principles, methodologies, and tools including Ansible
• - Experience using Git Source Control System

• - Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Jira and Confluence
