Job Description
Insight Global is hiring an Automated Test Engineer supporting a mission-focused cyber operations environment. This individual will help ensure software and systems perform as designed through automated testing strategies and custom framework development.
The ideal candidate is not simply a tester that executes scripts but someone who can build, extend, and improve automated testing capabilities for rapidly evolving software systems.
This position supports fast-paced development efforts where testing must adapt to new technologies, custom protocols, and changing mission requirements.
Responsibilities include:- Developing automated test solutions for software applications and systems
- Building and maintaining automated test frameworks
- Extending testing tools and frameworks to support custom functionality
- Creating test scripts using Python and automation tools
- Performing API, web application, and system testing
- Working closely with developers to validate functionality and performance
- Identifying and troubleshooting software defects
- Active TS/SCI with CI Poly
- 8-10 years of Automated testing experience
- Python development or scripting experience
- Automated testing experience
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as:
Robot Framework - Selenium
- Playwright
- Py Test
- Experience building or extending automated test solutions
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Offensive Cyber Operations experience
- Vulnerability research exposure
- ICS/SCADA testing experience
- Experience building custom testing libraries or framework extensions
