Compensation Support Specialist (Remote – $18–$23/hr)

Location: Hybrid Fort Mill, SC
Pay Range: $18–$23 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Standard Business Hours

Overview

A leading national financial services organization is seeking a Compensation Support Specialist to join its Advisor Compensation Operations team. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals with strong attention to detail, a foundation in accounting or financial operations, and a desire to learn within a fast-paced, professional environment. The position focuses on supporting daily processing, data entry, and administrative functions related to advisor compensation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process daily compensation sharing setups and updates for new and existing advisors.

  • Assist with reviewing and maintaining accurate payout and commission records.

  • Support the resolution of basic compensation issues and correction requests.

  • Collaborate with internal teams including Registration, Service, and Transitions to ensure data accuracy and timely updates.

  • Contribute to department projects such as onboarding, data migration, and system updates.

  • Perform additional administrative and data management tasks as assigned.

Qualifications
  • 1–2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or data entry preferred.

  • Prior experience in commissions or payroll processing a plus.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.

  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Self-motivated, dependable, and eager to learn new systems and processes.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
