Compensation Support Specialist (Remote – $18–$23/hr)
Location: Hybrid Fort Mill, SC
Pay Range: $18–$23 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Standard Business Hours
A leading national financial services organization is seeking a Compensation Support Specialist to join its Advisor Compensation Operations team. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals with strong attention to detail, a foundation in accounting or financial operations, and a desire to learn within a fast-paced, professional environment. The position focuses on supporting daily processing, data entry, and administrative functions related to advisor compensation.
Key ResponsibilitiesProcess daily compensation sharing setups and updates for new and existing advisors.
Assist with reviewing and maintaining accurate payout and commission records.
Support the resolution of basic compensation issues and correction requests.
Collaborate with internal teams including Registration, Service, and Transitions to ensure data accuracy and timely updates.
Contribute to department projects such as onboarding, data migration, and system updates.
Perform additional administrative and data management tasks as assigned.
1–2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or data entry preferred.
Prior experience in commissions or payroll processing a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated, dependable, and eager to learn new systems and processes.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
