Job Overview

The Assistant Vice President for Retirement Partners team, Platform Operations role, will report directly to the Vice President and be a member of the Retirement Partners business unit. The position will support complex advisor relationships and other initiatives through planning, tracking, and execution of projects of varying scale and complexity.

Responsibilities
  • Develop strong business relationships across the enterprise to enable a mutual understanding of risks and opportunities while also achieving close alignment on business needs.
  • Thrive in a team atmosphere and have the confidence to adjust and adapt as priorities change.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clearing business partners at LPL, including consulting teams and CLR (Compliance, legal, risk) partners, along with key stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong organizational acumen, be a self‑starter, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain a consolidated timeline view of related projects.
  • Run and manage LPL departmental meetings for the RP team.
  • Manage the process and completion of the Platform Monthly Dashboard for various stakeholders.
  • Present to leadership on various updates, initiatives, and projects.
  • Coordinate and distribute key required relationship reporting; ensure contents, owners, and schedules are kept current.
  • Manage group mailboxes and calendar.
  • Manage OPA (participant level advice) process to support advisors and M&A initiatives related to the 403(b) plan space.
  • Complete and compile presentations for the executives and leadership of Retirement Partners.
  • Complete ad‐hoc assignments that assist in the development and implementation of strategies and new processes.
  • Review existing business processes to identify areas of improvement.
  • Assist in developing, improving, and revising processes for continual improvement.

Requirements
  • 3–5 years of experience within the Retirement Plan space.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite.
  • Client‑facing experience in the financial industry (Advisor or Institution).

Preferences
  • Education:

    BA, BS or MBA or related business experience preferred, not required.
  • Visio a plus.
  • Experience in advisor‑facing technologies or processes a plus.
Pay Range
