• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to ensure a consistent and cost‑effective supply of raw materials.
• Identify potential suppliers, conduct supplier evaluations, and negotiate contracts and pricing terms.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand raw material requirements and forecast demand.
• Monitor market trends, industry developments, and supplier performance to optimize sourcing decisions.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier agreements.
• Resolve supplier issues such as quality concerns, delivery delays, and price discrepancies.
• Drive cost‑saving initiatives and identify opportunities for process improvement within the procurement function.
• Stay updated on regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to raw material sourcing.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a raw material buyer or procurement specialist in a corporate setting.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence suppliers to achieve favorable terms.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficiency in supplier management and contract negotiation.
• Familiarity with procurement software and systems (e.g., ERP, eSourcing platforms).
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards related to raw material sourcing.
